Freemasons and the Climate Change issues

The 17th United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 17), will be hosted by the city of Durban, South Africa, the 2011 Climate Capital. The COP 17 and CMP 7 Summit will mark a critical moment in the ongoing international climate change negotiations.
Starting with 2010, the Masonic Press Agency of Romania (APMR) admitted that the UNFCCC's summits mark an important step toward the global necessity of putting an end to the destructive process of our Natural temple: which is the PLANET EARTH.
Since the 2010 COP 16 Summit in Cancun, Mexico, APMR started a world wide initiative of promoting the UNFCCC's summits among all Fellows of the Craft, in three languages: Romanian, English and Spanish.
Also in 2010 APMR presented an exclusive collection of interviews with high ranking officials of the Masonic Order from countries such as Portugal, Israel, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, including the Executive President of the World Conference of Regular Grand Lodges.
For the 2011 COP Summit, held in Durban, Africa, APMR will also promote the event among all Fellows of the Craft having the hope of a better understanding of the necessity of changing our behavior regarding Earth's necessities.
